Eldership

Ros Watson

Ros has been part of the church family here in Coffs Harbour since the beginning of 2020, having retired here in 2019 with her husband Terry. They were active members of their former church family of 25 years having served in various ways over those years. Ros and Terry have 2 adult children, both partnered, and are enjoying the addition of their beautiful, joy bringing, first grandson.

Touched by the knowledge of God’s love and grace for all people, Ros has a heart for the welfare of others and has been actively involved in prison ministry for many years.

Jim Morrison

Jim grew up in a Christian home, and gave his life to Christ at the age of 12. He studied mechanical engineering at university and moved to Coffs Harbour where he is now self-employed as a consulting engineer.

Jim is married to Amy, and they have 4 children – Sam, Declan, Sienna and Evelyn.

He enjoys tinkering in the shed, playing music and spending time with his family. His favourite book of the bible is Nehemiah.

Grant Geytenbeek

Grant and his wife Bronwyn have lived in the Coffs Harbour area since 2005. They have two young adult sons and a teenage daughter at home. Grant has twenty-something years of pastoral experience serving in Baptist Churches in New South Wales and the Northern Territory. These days he still enjoys serving God through serving people, as a disability support worker in a group home.

For recreation Grant enjoys feeding the family’s herd of perpetually hungry guinea pigs, walking, gardening (without claiming to be a green thumb), and playing guitar (without claiming to be a musician).

Grant and Bronwyn have been members of Living Hope since 2019, and they greatly appreciate their church family. Grant describes Living Hope is a congregation that cares about each other and their surrounding community.

Jo Butler

Missions Coordinator

Jo has been passionately leading Mission at Your Church for a number of years. Jo is excellent at raising up a team of people on each occasion, as we always have a number of people contributing their time and money to the Lord through these causes. It is based on the strong belief that people need to come to know the Lord and have an encounter with His grace. Mission activities and support include Compassion, CCSM, Destiny Rescue, Operation Christmas Child and Wrapped in Love.
